The Allan Maisonette | Charming Georgian Retreat

Positive: It was a brilliant location literally around the corner from the town centre. The flat is tastefully decorated and has probably the best shower I've ever experienced! I would definitely return. Negative: Unfortunately when we were staying the weather wasn't great and unfortunately there were quite a lot of issues with water dripping from above the kitchen window onto the bench that made up two of the seats around the kitchen table. This was rather unfortunate as we were often self-catering and it rather took away from the atmosphere at meal times. The host was proactive in getting this investigated but ultimately it wasn't resolved whilst we were there. The offer of additional towels, albeit kind, did not come to fruition.

We will sray again. Positive: Decor was lovely, kids felt right at home. Loads of space. Negative: No bed sude light in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Really convenient for visiting my son. The lounge was cosy and comfy as were the beds. The kitchen was well equipped and Positive: Location style convenience Negative: Limited difficult parking particularly considering the weather long walks to the carpark left us soggy. Property would have benefitted from a second bathroom or even just a second toilet and a dishwasher rather than the washing machine would’ve been handy.

Excellent home in perfect location. Positive: The property is perfectly located next to the town center within a short walk to all the attractions in Stirling. The house is clean and comfortable. This is now the bar in which I will judge all my stays by. Negative: None
